Copper Mica Powder is a metallic copper cosmetic pigment used to add a warm copper shimmer, pearlescent shine, and reflective metallic finish to soaps, resin, candles, bath bombs, creams, lotions, and DIY cosmetic formulations.
This shade is suitable for creating copper-toned effects, bronze blends, metallic highlights, decorative swirls, and custom pigment mixes. It can be used alone for a rich copper finish or blended with gold, bronze, brown, red, or pearl mica powders to create custom metallic shades.
This mica powder is an insoluble pigment, not a water-soluble or oil-soluble dye. It does not dissolve in water or oil. Instead, it disperses into suitable cosmetic and craft bases with proper mixing. In thin liquids, mica particles may float initially or settle over time. This is normal behavior for mica pigments.
For best results, pre-mix the mica powder with a small amount of glycerin, oil, alcohol, soap base, resin, or your formulation base to make a smooth slurry before adding it into the final product.
