Charcoal Shine Mica Powder is a dark charcoal-grey cosmetic pigment used to add a smoky grey tone, metallic shimmer, and decorative reflective finish to soaps, resin, candles, bath bombs, creams, lotions, and DIY cosmetic formulations.
This shade is suitable for creating charcoal-grey effects, smoky metallic tones, dark shimmer blends, decorative soap swirls, resin color effects, and custom pigment mixes. It can be used alone for a deep charcoal shine finish or blended with silver, white, black, blue, bronze, or pearl mica powders to adjust the shade, depth, and shimmer intensity.
This mica powder is an insoluble pigment, not a water-soluble or oil-soluble dye. It does not dissolve in water or oil. Instead, it disperses into suitable cosmetic and craft bases with proper mixing. In thin liquids, mica particles may float initially or settle over time. This is normal behavior for mica pigments.
For best results, pre-mix the mica powder with a small amount of glycerin, oil, alcohol, soap base, resin, or your formulation base to make a smooth slurry before adding it into the final product.

Important Note
This product is a mica pigment, not activated charcoal. It is used for color and shimmer effects only and should not be described as detoxifying, cleansing, oil-absorbing, or skin-purifying unless such claims are supported by proper formulation testing and documentation.
Mica powder is a pigment, not a soluble color dye. It will not dissolve completely in water or oil. Final color, shimmer, and dispersion may vary depending on the base, mixing method, usage level, and formulation type. The shade may appear lighter, darker, more grey, or more black depending on the base and amount used. Always test in a small batch before final production.
This product is for external formulation and craft use only. Not for ingestion.
