🧪 Formula Composition

Batch Size: 1,000 grams (1 kg)

🔹 Phase A – Water Phase

  • Deionized Water (Aqua) – 824.0 g

  • Xanthan Gum – 4.0 g

🔹 Phase B

  • Glycerin 99.7% – 30.0 g

  • Euxyl PE 9010 (Preservative) – 3.0 g

🔹 Phase C – Oil Phase

  • Cetyl Alcohol 98% – 20.0 g

  • Shea Butter (Refined) – 20.0 g

  • Sweet Almond Oil – 20.0 g

  • Glyceryl Stearate SE – 30.0 g

🔹 Phase D – Active Phase

  • Volufiline – 50.0 g

🔹 Phase E

  • Potassium Sorbate – 1.0 g

🔹 Phase F – pH Adjustment

  • Sodium Hydroxide (30% solution) – 4.0 g

  • Deionized Water – 40.0 g

🔹 Phase G (Optional)

  • Fragrance – 1.0 g

🧑🔬 Preparation Method

  1. Phase A:
    Disperse Xanthan Gum into Deionized Water and allow it to fully hydrate. Heat the mixture to 75°C.

  2. Phase B:
    Mix Glycerin and the preservative. Warm gently until uniform, then add to Phase A with continuous stirring.

  3. Phase C:
    Melt Cetyl Alcohol, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, and Glyceryl Stearate SE together at 75°C until a clear oil phase is obtained.

  4. Phase D:
    Add Volufiline to Phase C and mix until completely homogeneous.

  5. Emulsification:
    Slowly add Phase C + D into Phase A + B under continuous stirring. Homogenize thoroughly to form a stable emulsion.

  6. Phase E:
    Dissolve Potassium Sorbate in a small amount of water if required and add to the emulsion.

  7. Phase F:
    Adjust the pH to approximately 5.5 using Sodium Hydroxide solution. Add slowly while checking pH frequently.

  8. Phase G:
    Once the emulsion cools below 40°C, add fragrance and mix well.

  9. Finalization:
    Continue mixing until the cream reaches room temperature and achieves a smooth, uniform consistency.
